TOKYO, 29 Feb. NOVATEK is confident in the significant growth of gas reserves project on Gidani (in the Yamalo-Nenets district), on the basis of exploration with current proven and probable reserves of 1.5 trillion cubic meters, said on Monday Deputy Chairman of the management Board Denis Khramov.
“The next project (LNG) is a project of “Arctic LNG”, the second export project, provided a comprehensive plan. Now the work is done on the assessment of the resource base… Now there is seismic work, drilling is planned for 2017-2018,” – said the Temples in the forum “Trade and industrial dialogue: Russia — Japan”.
“But however already submitted the resource base proved and probable reserves according to SEC classification amount to 1.5 trillion cubic meters,” he said. Temples added that there is also resource potential of 2 trillion cubic meters. “There is no doubt that the results of exploration, the reserve balance will increase,” he added.
Earlier Temples stated that NOVATEK invites Japanese companies to participate in the implementation of the second project company for the construction of a gas liquefaction plant on the Gyda Peninsula in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous district.
