The Russian Federation prohibits the import of plant products from Liberia, Kenya and India through Belarus


MOSCOW, February 29. Russia March 1, stops the supply of plant products from Liberia, Kenya and India through Belarus.

This was reported by the assistant head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Alexey Alekseenko.

“Prohibit from 1 March, it is, it is about all three countries – Liberia, Kenya and India”, – he told, answering an appropriate question.

In January, the Federal customs service of the Russian Federation recorded the highest number of cases about administrative offences on the facts of import to Russia of podcasting of goods from Belarus.

Customs authorities initiated a 256 administrative cases of sanctions re-export of food from this country. The second place is Lithuania and Poland (112 cases), the third – Ukraine (39 cases), the fourth – Kazakhstan (28 cases), fifth in Latvia (26 cases), followed by Finland (22 cases), Estonia (18 cases).
