KALININGRAD, March 2. Ferry line Baltiysk (Kaliningrad region) – Sassnitz (Germany) suspended the operation for technical reasons. This was announced by the company “TRANS-Exim”, dealing with reservation of seats on the ferry “Petersburg”, based on the line.

He noted that for normal operation of the line it is necessary to simplify the loading of the ferry transport, including the following in the region transiting from Russia through Belarus and Lithuania. “We are now making an analysis of the weaknesses (in the work of the ferry line)”, – said the source. Proposals from the transport area will be directed to the Federal centre, he added, noting that the problem requires a systematic approach.
