MOSCOW, March 3. First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on defense and security Frants Klintsevich believes that extending for one year sanctions against Russia, the U.S. made clear the impossibility of strategic cooperation with Russia.
Obama extended the us sanctions against Russia because of events in Ukraine
“The US policy towards Russia has not changed. This conclusion is inherent from the decree of U.S. President Barack Obama on the extension of anti-Russian sanctions for another year. In this regard, said the Senator, “the agreement between Russia and USA on Syria means nothing”. But at the same time, we must be prepared for any eventuality,” said the Klintsevich.
