SpaceX the fifth attempt to launch a Falcon 9 rocket


The Falcon 9 rocket with a communication satellite, SES-9 was launched from the spaceport at Cape Canaveral in the U.S. state of Florida, reports Reuters.

The rocket is expected to take the satellite, SES-9 into orbit. The manufacturer of the rocket SpaceX hopes to land the first stage rocket on a floating platform. SpaceX has postponed the launch of four Falcon 9. This is the second of 12 planned for 2016 launches of SpaceX, the first was held on January 16. Then the company was hoping to land a reusable rocket stage on a floating platform in the ocean, but when the landing stage was damaged.

The launch was to take place on the night of 25 February, it was canceled because of bad weather. The rocket tried to run the next day, but the start was moved less than two minutes before launch due to technical problems.
Another attempt was made on 29 February. The launch was canceled in the last seconds of the countdown. This was due to the alarm resounded before starting. For the fourth time SpaceX has rescheduled the Falcon 9 launch on March 2, then the postponement of the launch of steel high-rise wind.
