The price of Brent oil in the course of trading in London fell below $40 a barrel


LONDON, March 8. The cost of futures for oil of mark Brent with delivery in may 2016 on the ICE stock exchange in London fell below $41 a barrel, up $39,89, according to AFP.

Earlier today oil prices rose above $41 per barrel.

As reported, on Monday amid rising price of oil, the MICEX index rose by 1.67% to 1909,57 points – their highest level since June 2008. Dollar-denominated RTS index ended the trading session higher by 2.56% to the level of 839,23 item. March 8 trading on the Moscow stock exchange was not conducted.
