MOSCOW, March 9. The share of Internet trade in Russia’s total retail in 2015 amounted to 4%, said the President of the Association of e-Commerce companies (AKIT) Alexey Fedorov.
“The share of e-commerce in the retail sector Russia is about 4%, while in Britain and Germany – 12%,” said he, speaking in the Federation Council.
Fedotov noted that about 68% of Russian households have access to the Internet, in the USA the figure is 90%.
According to the head of the AKITA, the world wide web is 57% of Russians aged 12 to 64 years, while women are more active than men.
