MOSCOW, March 10. The Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov admitted that I will not be surprised, if following the Russian athletes who will accuse the aerospace forces (VKS) Russian or Russian diplomacy in action, “under-doping”.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if now someone will accuse, for example, or the Russian space forces of the Russian diplomacy in that they “operate under the dope”, and on this basis will be required to prohibit from participation in global processes”, – quotes the official representative of the Russian dipvedomstva Maria Zakharova on his page in Facebook Lavrov interview to TV channel REN-TV.
Previously around the Russian athletes again broke the doping scandal.
Meldonium (Mildronate) was included in the prohibited list world anti-doping Agency (WADA) drugs January 1, 2016, after that several Russian athletes were caught in its application. The detection in an athlete’s sample of this substance both in competition and out-of-competition period is a violation of anti-doping rules. The substance belongs to the class of S4 of the WADA prohibited list (hormones and modulators of metabolism).
In those found to use of Meldonium are cyclist Eduard Vorganov, figure skater Ekaterina Bobrova, tennis player Maria Sharapova, skater Paul Kulizhnikov, short-trackers semen Elistratov and Ekaterina Konstantinova, volleyball player Alexander Markin and team Edward Latypov.
