The insurers offered to unpin the calculation of accident rates CTP car

The Russian Union of motor insurers (RAMI) sent to the Central Bank proposals on changing the tariffs and coefficients of CTP, in particular, the reform implies unpinning the accident rate of the car, writes “Kommersant”.

Insurers want to untie the coefficient “bonus-Malus”, which determines the final price of the insurance policy, from the fact of ownership of the vehicle. Instead, they want to introduce a single driver-the rate is valid for one year. According to the calculations of insurers, as a result of reform the order of 20% of car owners will get bonuses, but 5% of drivers and emergency allowances.
