This was announced by the special envoy of the Russian President for the Middle East and North Africa, Deputy foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.

“Now, when in parallel, several delegations (from the Syrian opposition – approx.ed.TASS), it is a challenging task to a special envoy of UN Secretary General for Syria, Staffan de Mistura,” – said Bogdanov.

As expected, the talks between the opposition and the Syrian government under the mediation of special envoy of the UN Secretary General on Syria Staffan de Mistura will begin in Geneva on 14 March.
