Churkin: the launch of missiles by Iran is not a violation of UN security Council resolution and does not require the entry of sanctions

The launches of ballistic missiles by Iran were not in violation of the resolutions of the Security Council and do not require the imposition of sanctions against Tehran. This was stated by the permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vitaly Churkin, going to a closed meeting of the security Council.

Answering the relevant questions of the journalists, the diplomat said: “the Clear answer is no.”
