The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko sees as the new Prime Minister of Ukraine Minister of Finance Natalie Jaresko or the mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovy, informs “RIA Novosti” with reference to the statement by the press Secretary of the President of Ukraine Svyatoslav Tsigalko. Earlier, the representative of the President of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada Stepan Kubiv said that the President considers it necessary to replace the government entirely. In the evening, the President will hold talks with leaders of parliamentary factions.
Tsegolko wrote on his Facebook that to overcome the political crisis we need a new coalition in the Verkhovna Rada, and there are three variants of the situation with the government. The creation of a technocratic government under Jaresko, the establishment of political government under the Garden, or the proposal of the parliamentary forces other candidates. “Let them offer and find 226 votes in the Verkhovna Rada”, — described the third option Tsigalko.
The resignation of the current Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has been actively discussed in Ukraine since 16 February, when the Parliament declared unsatisfactory work of the government under him, but was unable to send Yatsenyuk — not enough votes.
In recent weeks, the likely successor of Yatsenyuk Ukrainian media, in addition to Natalie Jaresko, was named the Chairman of the Parliament Volodymyr Groysman. The name Garden in these messages did not appear. However, Hroisman said today that he had not received proposals to take the post of Prime Minister. According to him, the new government required a new coalition, which “will determine who can be the Prime Minister or the members of the government who can make changes.”
