Zyuganov responded to criticism in connection with his meeting with the U.S. Ambassador to the Russian Federation

MOSCOW, March 14. The CPRF leader Gennady Zyuganov responded to criticism regarding his meeting with U.S. Ambassador to Russia John Tefft.

As previously reported, on March 9 Zyuganov held a working meeting with the Ambassador of the United States. After that, the state Duma Deputy, member of Presidium of General Council of “United Russia” Valery Trapeznikov expressed the wish that Zyuganov “at the plenary meeting on Tuesday, March 15, at the ten-minute period (allotted factions for political statements) gave clarification regarding his meeting with the American Ambassador”.

“I began to paraguachi. Those who Paraguay, and spend Americanized policy, from privatization Chubais, ending with the destruction of basic industries, especially knowledge-intensive”, he said at a meeting of the Communist party faction.

According to Zyuganov, his party holds the “opposite politics, having nothing in common with the American destructive” for country’s liberalism. “Including the Ambassador said what I think, and the Crimea and Donbass, and the aggressive policy of the Baltic States, and what they’re doing with ISIS (“Islamic state of Iraq and the Levant” – the former name is forbidden in the Russian Federation terrorist group – ed.). We all said, so it is game on nerves”, – said the leader of the Communist party.
