PSKOV, on March 15. In the special economic zone (SEZ) “Moglino” in the Pskov region plans to launch production of the Russian tablets and smartphones. The investment will amount to 2.8 billion roubles, have informed in a press-service of administration of region at the meeting of the regional Supervisory Council.

“Company “Moselektronproekt” intends to become a resident of SEZ “Moglino” with an investment of 2.8 billion rubles. The project envisages production of domestic electronic devices – tablets, routers, smartphones, routers, and products for the defense and space industry”, – reported in Department.
According to the head of the project Vladimir Nosov, a similar plant in Russia at the moment, no. The planned production capacity is over 4.5 million units a year, the company will be involved to 3 thousand people. Nosov said that the cost of some products may be cheaper Chinese counterparts.
The administration stressed that the investment project will submit for consideration by the Expert Council of the Ministry of economic development for the issuance of the SEZ resident status, which will allow the company to obtain significant tax benefits.

The production is scheduled to start at the expense of foreign investments, the Fund development industry of Russia, and also of own and borrowed funds. As noted by the Governor Andrei Turchak, the project “Roselektronika” will be presented to the Minister of industry and trade of Russian Federation Denis Manturov, who on Friday plans to visit the region.
Currently in the SEZ “Moglino” registered five companies. The readiness of the production sites for different types of work ranges from 70% to 95%. In may, the first two resident intend to start construction works.
The SEZ “Moglino” – industrial Park industrial-production type. It is located 8 km from Pskov, with an area of 215 hectares. Total volume of investments of residents expected by 2025 and $ 27 billion.
