Putin met with former Prime Minister of Italy Romano Prodi

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday, 17 March, met with the former Prime Minister of Italy Romano Prodi. This was reported by press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, reports “Interfax”.

“The President received former President of the Council of Ministers of Italy Romano Prodi, who is in Russia on a private visit”, — quotes Agency the words Peskov. The details of the conversation he did not elaborate.

Putin also maintains friendly relations with other former Prime Minister of Italy, Silvio Berlusconi.
