MOSCOW, March 16. The cost of futures for oil of mark Brent with delivery in may 2016 on the ICE stock exchange in London increased by 3,38% to $40,03 per barrel. This is evidenced by the trade data.

Earlier today, the Minister of energy Alexander Novak reported that fifteen countries have confirmed participation in the meeting of the countries – exporters of oil, which will be held in the Qatari capital Doha on April 17.

According to him, the meeting will discuss measures to monitor the implementation of agreements. “Now the country holding the presidency of OPEC in Qatar will send out invitations to all countries within and outside the oil cartel. When you receive a confirmation, then we can talk about the number of participants. The consultations also confirmed the participation of about 15 countries,” said Novak.

The Minister also stressed that Iran is ready to participate in this meeting.
