In accordance with Russian legislation, foreign citizens from “visa-free” countries coming to Russia for employment purposes, are required within 30 days after entry to establish their patent.
MOSCOW, 31 Mar. The largest Russian mobile retailer Euroset as of April 4, will start to accept payments of migrants on labor patents in its showrooms in Moscow and the Moscow region, said the representative of the company Ulyana Smolskaya.
According to the legislation of the Russian Federation, foreign citizens from “visa-free” countries coming to Russia for employment purposes, are required within 30 days after entry of labour to issue a patent – a document granting the right to work in the territory of the Russian Federation. After the initial patent, the migrant must make a monthly payment for prolongation of validity of the document, the company said.
“The launch of a new service for migrants is intended to facilitate the payment process of the patent and make it faster, more convenient, more accessible geographically. The new algorithm excludes payment for migrant access to the Internet to fill in the receipt and possible errors in the payment details, as all data for the foreign national employee is filled with the “Euroset” at the checkout,” said Smolsky.
The details of the payment system loads automatically based on the minimum list of documents required for granting a migrant: patent, passport and TIN, says the company.
The project in the Moscow region is a pilot in the future it is planned to extend to other regions of the country.
