The head of Department on investigation of especially important cases of the Investigative Committee Igor Krasnov, engaged in business about murder of Boris Nemtsov, will soon take the post of Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia. About it reports “Rosbalt” with reference to several law enforcement sources.
They said that the AI will take the vacant place, released 17 March 2016, when in resignation by the decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin was sent to the Deputy head of the RCDS Alexander Bastrykin Andrey Lavrenko.
“The documents on the appointment of Igor Krasnov, Deputy head of the RF IC now pending approval in the presidential administration, in the near future can be signed the order for its increase”, — said one of interlocutors of the Agency.

Always good when the leadership of the investigation come to the young professionals that have passed the way from the bottom independently and have done all the steps on the career ladder. This is the case Krasnov,” said he.
A source in the Investigative Committee confirmed that in the near future Krasnov should be the Deputy Bastrykin.
In may 2015 Krasnov headed a new structure for the Investigative Committee, which is composed of the best investigators of the Department. The division was made of the number of investigators under the Chairman of the RCDS Alexander Bastrykin. Most of them have the rank of General. According to the interlocutor , Krasnov will retain the leadership of this structure.
Another source in the Department said that was considered, in which the AI could take over the management of the UK on Chechnya, but this idea was decided to.
11 February 2016 Vladimir Putin issued a decree released from the post of the head of the investigative Department of the TFR in Chechnya Sergei Devyatov.
According to another source in law enforcement bodies, the predecessor Devyatova Sergey Bobrov was dismissed because of the fact that he began to deal with the cases of torture in Chechnya. This led to conflict with the Chechen leadership. Bobrova, who replaced on a post of the head of the Investigative Committee Sergei Devyatov, by contrast, was completely happy Ramzan Kadyrov, so this resignation can be explained by the confrontation of the leader of the Chechen and Federal security forces. Now duties of the head of Department of the TFR in Chechnya performs the General-the major of justice Sergey Sokolov.
