Vladimir Putin signed a decree appointing army General Victor Zolotov, the chief of the troops of the newly created National Guard. The decree published on the Kremlin website.

“Assign Zolotov Victor Vasilievich the Director of the Federal service the national guard troops of the Russian Federation commander of the national guard of the Russian Federation, relieving him of his duties”, — is spoken in the document text. It takes effect from the date of signing.
