The revenue growth for January-March amounted to 16,59% to 254,435 billion.
Sales network of “convenience stores”, which are the main trade format is “Magnet”, in March has increased by 14.77% to 66,367 billion rubles, three months of the year to 15.32 percent, to 187,51 billion. Revenue of hypermarkets in the last month fell by 0.98% to 13,879 billion rubles in January-March has grown on 1,92%, to $ 39,473 billion.
Sales of comparable stores “Magnet” (like-for-like, LfL) in the first quarter increased by 0.44%. While the average check has decreased on 1,01% and customer traffic grew by 1.46%.
In March, the retailer opened a store 132 (including closures). The total number of stores reached 434 thousand 12 (9 715 thousand “convenience stores”, 225 hypermarkets, 157 stores “Magnit family” and 2 thousand 337 of cosmetics stores).
The largest shareholder of the network of shops “Magnet” (the Central office located in Krasnodar) is Sergey Galitsky, who owns about 40% of the shares; approximately 54% of the shares are in free float. The company’s net profit under IFRS in 2015 increased by 23,85% to 59,061 billion rubles, EBITDA increased by 21,03% to 103,973 billion.
