MOSCOW, 15 APR. One of the largest Russian retailers “Dixie” in March 2016 increased retail revenue by 16.2% compared to the same period last year to 26.2 billion rubles, is spoken in the message of the company.
Thus, in March the growth of sales of “Dixie” slowed down compared to February this year, when the revenue of the retailer increased by 18.5%.
Revenue growth in the first quarter was 16.5% to 74,1 billion rubles.
Retail revenue from Dixy stores in March has grown on 18,1% — to 21.4 billion rubles, division “Victoria” — on 12%, to 3.2 billion rubles, of shops “Megamart” – on 1,6%, to 1.6 billion rubles.
In March, the retailer opened 28 stores (including closures). The total number of stores reached 2744, including 2595 of stores, 111 Victoria stores, 1 Cash store, and 38 compact hypermarkets “Megamart” and “Minimart”.
The first store retail chain “Dixy” was opened in Moscow in 1999. Controlling stake in the group of companies “Dixie” (54,4%) owns a diversified holding “mercury”, controlled by businessman Igor Kesaev. Geography of activity of the group covers Central, North-Western, Volga and Ural Federal district and in Kaliningrad and Kaliningrad region.
