Contender for the US presidency from the Republican party Senator from Texas Ted Cruz has gained the support of all 14 delegates ‘ votes in Wyoming, thereby reducing the gap to the leader of the Republican primary, Donald trump, according to Reuters.
A vote in Wyoming was held in the form of the party Congress. A month ago in this state a majority of delegate votes (12) were cast in favor of Cruz, one in favor of trump, yet some remained independent.
Previously, trump lost to Cruz in the state of Colorado, where the voting took place according to the same scheme. There Cruz enlisted the support of all 34 delegates.
Cruz is trying to thwart Trump to dial 1237 delegates that will allow it to automatically obtain the nomination from the Republican party, according to Reuters. Currently, trump 743 votes delegates, Cruz – 545.
