The President of Russia Vladimir Putin and President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko held on the evening of Monday, April 18, a telephone conversation. This was reported to journalists the press-Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov.
According to Peskov, among the issues discussed was the fate of Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko and Russian citizens detained in Ukraine, and Aleksandr Aleksandrov Evgeny Erofeev.
“During the meeting they discussed the settlement in the South-East of Ukraine, current moments in bilateral relations. Also addressed the issue of Nadezhda Savchenko, as well as about the fate of Russian citizens Alexander and Erofeev. The presidents agreed that Savchenko will soon be available to the Consul General of Ukraine in Rostov-on-don”, — quoted Peskov, “RIA Novosti”.
