In the Polish leadership probably brewing schism, visible manifestation of which were the representations of the leader of the ruling party “Law and justice” Jaroslaw Kaczynski against the country’s President Andrzej Duda, writes the Associated Press. As of April, the Agency cites a case that took place on 10 April at the event dedicated to the anniversary of the death in a plane crash of Lech Kaczynski’s brother.

The Agency notes that the essence of the disagreements between Kaczynski and Duda is in relation to the Smolensk plane crash in 2010 killed then Polish President Lech Kaczynski and another 95 people. At the same time, reminds Agency, an official investigation concluded that the accident occurred in consequence of weather conditions and human error.
In March the Ministry of justice of Poland has created a new Commission to investigate the disaster near Smolensk. At the memorial ceremony on 10 April, Duda has called for forgiveness and reconciliation in a society in which there are also strong disagreement about the causes of the crash. Kaczynski later said that reconciliation is only possible after perpetrators will be punished.
In an interview with Pro-publication policies tried to downplay the rumors about the split, writes the AP, but acknowledged that there were differences of opinion. “I do not enter into polemics with the President, but argue that, in my opinion, I’m right,” said Kaczynski.
A few days later at the event dedicated to the 1050 anniversary of the establishment of Christianity in Poland, all present stood up when the President, in addition to Kaczynski, the Agency is regarded as another insult. The representative of Duda refused to comment to AP about how as the head of state refers to a possible rupture with the leader of the ruling party.
According to political scientists, emphasizes the Agency, to talk about the real consequences of the split will be available only in the case that Duda will start to block the initiative of Parliament, in which the Kaczynski party has a majority.
