New head of AVTOVAZ agreed to use Russian components

New head of AVTOVAZ Nicolas Moore agreed maximum to use in the production of Russian hardware. This was on the sidelines of the Congress of the Union of machine builders in Moscow, told journalists the Minister of industry and trade Denis Manturov, reports “Interfax”.

“Talked about how to use most of the Russian components. He agreed with me. Moreover, this experience has been passed in Romania,” said Minister of industry and trade, commenting on the results of his recent meeting with Pestilence.

The Minister also assured that for the recovery of AVTOVAZ budgetary funds will be required. “I can confirm that from the Federal budget any additional funds for capitalization is not required, since it has all the abilities of the founders who need to take appropriate decisions”, — quotes the words Manturov TASS.

The head of Rostec Sergey Chemezov is also on the sidelines of the engineering Union stated that they and the head of Renault-Nissan Carlos Ghosn will continue to oversee the work of AVTOVAZ, despite the fact that leave the group’s Board of Directors.

“Today, the company is formed, management established, there are specialists who can work independently and manage AVTOVAZ. But this does not mean that I and [Carlos] Ghosn deviate at all from AVTOVAZ. Of course, this factory will be always in our sights”, — said Sergey Chemezov.

At the beginning of March Sergey Chemezov told about the “big mistake” of the former head of AVTOVAZ Bo Andersson. According to the head of Rostec, a Dutch top Manager “went the easiest path” — concluded contracts with suppliers of automakers Renault and Nissan, instead cooperate with Russian suppliers. This, according to Chemezov, has led the carmaker to losses.

Nicolas Moore was appointed President of AVTOVAZ on March 15. The same day Denis Manturov said that the main task of the Mora must be the orientation on Russian suppliers of components.
