The savings Bank will increase Charter capital of its Ukrainian “daughter” by more than 50%


The recapitalization of the Bank will be carried out by converting the previously received interbank credits in the capital. The funds the Bank will direct on formation of additional reserves under loans.

MOSCOW, 19 APR. The Supervisory Board of Sberbank of Russia took a decision to increase the authorized capital of the subsidiary Bank in Ukraine by 4.3 billion, or 52%, to UAH 12.5 billion (490 million dollars), said the Ukrainian Bank.

The recapitalization of the Bank will be carried out by converting the previously received interbank credits in the capital. The funds the Bank will direct on formation of additional reserves under loans.

The capital increase is carried out in accordance with the approved National Bank of Ukraine the plan of recapitalization.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the “daughter” of Sberbank is among the five largest banks in the country by asset size. As of September 30, 2015 assets amounted to 53,7 billion UAH.
