The interior Ministry will invite Interpol to reopen the investigation left Russia business

The Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia initiated the holding of consultations with Interpol on the resumption of international search 13. As pointed out in the report submitted to the Federation Council, Prosecutor General Yury Chaika, it was done at the suggestion of his Ministry, reports “Interfax”.

Chaika reported that it comes to defendants in criminal cases of special importance.

In the list that is contained in the report, the two managers of Hermitage Capital William Browder and Ivan Cherkasov, passing on the case “FosAgro” Alexander Gorbachev, in the case of “Sovcomflot” Yuri Nikitin, a former President of the Bank of Moscow Andrey Borodin.

The others listed the defendants in the “Yukos case”: Yury Beilin, Mikhail Trushin, Andrei Leonovich, Vladislav Kartashov, Natalia Chernysheva, Michael Brudno, Alexander Temerko and Pavel Ivlev.

The reaction of Interpol on the proposal of the Ministry of interior is still unknown.

In February, Interpol rejected the request of Russia declared wanted the former head of YUKOS Mikhail Khodorkovsky. In the organization indicated that the request was sent to National Central Bureau (NCB) of Interpol in Moscow directly to other countries that did not follow the rules. In addition to this, the General Secretariat of the organization indicated that its Statute “categorically prohibits to take any actions of political, military, religious or racial character”.

Its position Interpol reiterated on April response to the request of the Prosecutor General on the readiness of the international police organization to change its position on Khodorkovsky.
