Ltd was signed on Wednesday, may 4, Memorandum on the financing of agricultural project in the Republic, which total amount is estimated at $400 million this is stated in the message of RACIN published on the website of the centre.

The signing of the Memorandum took place within the framework of the visit to Tatarstan of the delegation of the Chinese province of Sichuan in the framework of the business forum “Tatarstan — Sichuan”.

The report notes that we are talking about the “project of establishment demonstration farms in the area of 10 thousand hectares, the construction of a dairy farm to 3 thousand dairy cows, breeding beef cattle to 5 thousand heads and construction of greenhouses with an area of 54 ha.”

The Minister of industry and trade of Tatarstan albert Karimov, in turn, reported that in 2015 the trade turnover between Tatarstan and China amounted to $264,3 million, noting that there is considerable potential for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation and increase trade turnover.
