Putin has ruled out the former head of the Federal drug control service of the Russian security Council


Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree according to which Director of the abolished Federal service for control over drug trafficking (FSKN) Victor Ivanov expelled from the UN security Council. Document published on web portal of official information.

On 5 April the head of state during the meeting, which was attended by, in particular, Ivanov and the Minister of internal Affairs Viktor Kolokoltsev, commander of Internal troops of the Ministry of internal Affairs Viktor Zolotov and Deputy head of the Federal migration service (FMS) Yekaterina Yegorova, announced that the Federal drug control service and the FMS will be subordinated to the interior Ministry.

At the same meeting the President announced the creation of the National guard on the basis of Internal troops of the interior Ministry. This new body of Executive power, Putin said, will deal with the fight against terrorism and organized crime.
