Russian President Vladimir Putin gave the command to launch the last, the fourth leg of the power bridge to the Crimea, reports “Interfax”.
The head of state took part in the launch of the final phase of the bridge “Taman — Reed-Boroi” via teleconference from Sochi residence “Bocharov stream”. During the video conference, Minister of energy Alexander Novak reported to the President about the completion of construction and installation works and commissioning procedures, after which the President was allowed to run.
In November 2015, the Crimea has been completely disconnected as a result of the energy blockade, which was organized by Ukrainian activists. The Peninsula was introduced emergency mode.
Partially restore the power supply has been in early December of 2015 after commissioning of the first leg of the power bridge from the Krasnodar region. It is designed to provide 200 MW. After two weeks in the Crimea was introduced, the second leg of the power bridge — 200 MW. A month ago — April 14 — was launched on the third line (an additional 200 MW).
