“You always need to be optimistic, but, well, you need to be well-informed optimists. Of course, President Putin has consistently and constantly expressed for the restoration of our relationship, for further development”, — said Peskov.

He recalled that Putin “always expresses his regret and disappointment that our European partners are still choosing fairly non-constructive way.”

According to the representative of the Kremlin, the normalization of relations will come sooner or later and that meets the interests of both Russia and Europe.
