Sberbank threatened to claim bankruptcy network “Jasper Gold”

Total debt network of jewelry stores “Yashma Zoloto” and related companies to Sberbank of Russia amounts to more than 6 billion rubles, said Friday the first Deputy Chairman of the Bank Maxim Poletaev. He did not rule out that the Bank can initiate bankruptcy proceedings against the company, reports “RIA Novosti”.

“Now we are engaged in the company “Yashma”. There is total debt of about 6 billion rubles. was There the owner tried to us is incorrect, we had to call for common sense,” — said Poletaev.

According to him, Sberbank is thinking what to do with the debtor. “I fear that is not without unpopular decisions”, — said a top Manager.

On the question of whether the Bank is to demand the bankruptcy of the company, Poletayev said that it is quite possible. “I’m a supporter of that principle to file for bankruptcy,” — said a top Manager.

In the case of “Jasper” it’s not just about the network of jewelry stores, but also on construction projects, said Poletayev. He said that the trading network “Group of companies Jasper” owes Sberbank RUB 4.5 billion, the debt on construction projects “Skyscraper” and “Aerofest” related to a shareholder of the network is 2.1 billion rubles.

As wrote “Kommersant”, in late 2015, the savings Bank has submitted to capital arbitration bankruptcy claims to the co-founders of “Jasper” Robert Martirosyan and Igor Mavlyanova, which indicated that they owe the Bank 36.7 million RUB. In March it became known that Martirosyan and prof re-registered from Moscow to the town of Bobrov, Voronezh region.

From mid-2014 demand for jewelry in Russia began to decline sharply due to the devaluation, sanctions and the reduction of revenue from the sale of oil, wrote “Vedomosti” with reference to the report of the world gold Council (WGS). In 2015, demand fell 39% to its lowest level in 14 years, and in the first quarter of 2016, reaching the lowest level since 2008, a decrease of 17% compared to the same period last year.
