Nadezhda Savchenko gave a speech in the Verkhovna Rada

The Deputy Hope Savchenko for the first time has acted at session of the Ukrainian Parliament. Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy, prefacing her statement, told how he was near her independence was to her. And then everyone in the world saw how she fought for freedom, added Parubiy. According to Parubiy, Savchenko has become a symbol of Ukraine, when Ukraine fought against “Russian invaders”.

Savchenko came to the podium with the Ukrainian flag and hung his podium. “I’m the MP, I went back and included in the work,” she said.

Savchenko’s speech was brief. She thanked everyone who supported her. “I’m back and won’t let you forget about those lads that started to die on the Maidan, and continue to die in the Donbass”, — announced his purpose the Deputy Savchenko. According to her, she was in a cemetery and I’m sure that the dead will not lie quietly in their graves, while Ukraine will not win.

“Nothing is forgotten and no one is forgotten”, — said Savchenko. At the end of his short speech, Savchenko began to sing the anthem of Ukraine, which is picked up by all the deputies, and then removed his portrait from the podium, which was hanging out there lately, were replaced by photos of those who continue to be detained. On the podium during the speech continued to hang the banner “the Will of Hope Savchenko”. Before the speech, she talked in the hall with Mustafa Dzhemilev, leader of Crimean Tatars, banned by a court decision in Russia.

Savchenko was elected Deputy from the party “Fatherland”, when he was in Russian custody. The Ukrainian pilot was sentenced by a Russian court to 22 years in prison for the murder of journalists VGTRK in the Donbass. Last week Russian President Vladimir Putin pardoned Savchenko. This became known after the airplane of the President of Ukraine took her from Rostov-on-don to Kiev. At the same time to Moscow from Ukraine were sent to the Russians Aleksandr Erofeev and Evgeny Aleksandrov, which in Kiev called “the GRU soldiers”, and in Moscow — the former soldiers. They were convicted in Ukraine for participation in hostilities in the Donbass and was pardoned by President Petro Poroshenko.

Upon returning to Ukraine Savchenko said that will work as a Deputy. She was a member of the Committee on security and national defence.
