The son of a king and Deputy crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman, who oversees economic policy of the Kingdom, in mid-June, will visit Washington, reports Reuters, citing three knowledgeable source. According to them, the Prince will meet with several senior us officials, including, perhaps, U.S. President Barack Obama. According to Reuters, the meeting will be held amid rising tensions long-standing allies.
According to one of interlocutors of Agency, the visit of Salman is scheduled for June 14-16. First, the Prince will visit Washington, then will go to N York, where he will meet with financiers, and then, perhaps, will head to Los Angeles.
A White house spokesman told the news Agency that now can not announce any visit.
According to sources Reuters, Mohammed bin Salman, who previously held the post of Minister of defence of the Kingdom, will meet Pentagon Ash Carter to discuss the conflicts in Yemen and Syria.
