Nazarbayev after the events in Aktobe saw signs of “color revolutions”

In Kazakhstan there are signs of a “color revolution”, reads the statement of the President of the country Nursultan Nazarbayev on the attacks in Aktobe, published on its website. “We all know that the so-called “color revolutions” have different methods and start with a contrived rallies, murder, and desire take over. These signs appeared in our country”, — he said.

According to him, using “liberal public policy and our laws, someone wanted to test the power of the state on the strength.” “I declare that we will always take the most stringent measures to suppress the extremists and terrorists. Nazarbayev also stressed that the attackers are the followers of “radical pseudo-religious movements” — received instructions from abroad.

5 June in Aktobe (formerly Aktyubinsk) armed men attacked two of the gun shop and part 6655 National guard. The result is that seven people were killed, 37 were wounded, most of them soldiers. During anti-terrorist operations were killed 13 militants. The total number of detainees currently stands at nine people.

Kazakh interior Ministry has described the attack as a terrorist attack. The representative office Almas Sadabaev noted that the attackers could be “adherents of nonconventional religious trends”.
