The GPU has arrested another accused of fraud with the gas


On the Ukrainian-Polish border detained a former top Manager of the Eastern-European fuel and energy company (VETEK), said Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko in his Facebook.

“On Sunday morning while attempting to cross the border with Poland in the transition Krakovets detained Andrey Koshelev — the former top-Manager of VETEK Sergey Kurchenko”, the report said the attorney General.

He noted that the detention occurred in the case of the “stolen about 5.5 billion”.

In turn, Deputy Prosecutor General — chief military Prosecutor Anatoly Matios said in his Facebook about the Syrian detainee’s Purse.

On June 11 it became known about detention of the former Deputy Minister of economic development Alexander Sukhomlin’s, who held this post during the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych. Lutsenko then said that Sukhomlin is suspected that illegally took control in the interests of criminal organizations property of PJSC “Ukrgazvydobuvannya and Ukrnafta, more than 50% of which belong to the state, namely the produced liquefied gas totaling more than 2 billion USD”.

According to Lutsenko, members of the criminal organization was the former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, the former head of the government Mykola Azarov, and also the owner of group of companies “Gas Ukraine” Sergey Kurchenko.

The journalist Valery Kalnysh in his Facebook reported that the essence of the fraud the company was a state-run company sold liquefied natural gas for the population of companies that participated in the auction. But in the end the gas got into the company “Gas Ukraine 2020”, which, in turn, resell it to gas stations.
