The Kremlin has not found a “meaningful moments” in the letter of Erdogan to Putin


In an official letter to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the day of Russia there was no “meaningful moments.” This was stated press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov.

In a letter to Putin, Erdogan expressed hope for the restoration of relations between Moscow and Ankara. “Dear Mr. President! A similar letter to Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev sent his Turkish counterpart Binali Yildirim. In it he expressed hope that “in the future, the cooperation and relations between the two countries reached the level required for the common interest of our peoples.”

According to Peskov, Russia wants normalization of relations with Turkey, but as long as Ankara does not fulfill the number of steps mentioned by the President of Russia, the normalization of bilateral relations is impossible.
