Valery Gazzaev, former coach of Russian football and CSKA Moscow, can take part in the elections to the Duma. In “Fair Russia” hopes that the defender will be able to lead a regional group of four Caucasian subjects, found “Kommersant”.
About plans to nominate Gazzaev told the newspaper source in the party. According to the interlocutor of the newspaper, the coach will lead the Union from North Ossetia, where he came from, Karachay-Cherkessia, Kabardino-Balkaria and Ingushetia. Now representatives of these republics are not among the Duma of provorotov.
Another source in the party said that Gazzaev “recommended” by the party leadership and he did not show this initiative. Originally they considered other candidates, for example, Vice-speaker of national legislative Assembly Gariy Kuchiev, who ran for the Duma in 2011.
