Obama discussed Brexit Cameron and Merkel


Barack Obama on June 24 held telephone conversations with British Prime Minister David Cameron and German Chancellor Angela Merk El. The politicians discussed the past in Britain a referendum on withdrawal from the European Union, reports Reuters, citing a White house statement.

In conversation with Cameron, the US President said that the special relationship with Britain and Britain’s membership of NATO remains the cornerstone of American politics.

During the negotiations with Merkel and the us President and the German Chancellor, according to the White house, expressed regret at the decision of the British voters, however, respected the will of the people of Britain.
