The Prime Minister of Turkey reported 36 dead in the airport of Istanbul


The victims of the explosions at the airport Ataturk were 36 people, wounded many others, said Prime Minister of Turkey, Binali Yildirim, reports Reuters. According to him, among the dead are foreigners.

Yildirim highlighted the fact that the attack at the airport of Istanbul was at a time when Turkey achieves success in the fight against terrorists. The Prime Minister said that the explosions at the airport have shown that terrorism is a global threat.

The Prime Minister also told some details of the attack. According to him, the attack involved three suicide bombers, they pulled up to the airport by taxi. All three attackers first opened fire from the weapons that had brought, and then blew himself up. According to him, the Turkish authorities suspect that the attack is the group “Islamic state” (banned in Russia).
