The authorities have postponed the launch of the railway part of the bridge’s year


Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree that shifts the beginning of the temporary operation of the railway part of the bridge across the Kerch Strait on December 1, 2019. The document was approved by the government on 5 July, it published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

Initially it was assumed that the beginning of the temporary operation of the constructed railway line on the bridge in the Crimea will begin on 18 December 2018. Such terms were specified in the government order of 30 January 2015. The document also approved, OOO stroygazmontazh as the sole contractor of works on construction of the bridge.

The document also approved the transfer of the project on construction of the Kerch bridge on Treasury support. In General, large postroyki began to move with the expanded banking services to the Treasury. This method of financing allows the government to directly control the flow of funds.

In early June, Forbes reported that funding for the bridge’s construction is delayed. According to the newspaper, the letter said that the company could not build a bridge the necessary topics and to invest in the purchase of expensive construction equipment in connection with delays in financing. Kyrylenko pointed out that the Ministry of transport and Rosavtodor can’t solve the issue with the payment in February 2016.

In turn, Entrnce explained that is planned for 2016, the amount for the project have been allocated from the budget to spend this money will be possible only with the transition to Treasury support. It was noted that all changes will be approved by the government before the end of June.

Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the delay in financing the construction of a bridge, expressed confidence that this problem will soon be resolved. He drew attention that the Kremlin has no details of the construction process, because this issue deals with the government.
