The Bank Mikhail Prokhorov denied the possible sale of shares of ONEXIM


Bank “international financial club” (IFC), controlled by Mikhail Prokhorov denied the information that ONEXIM group sells its stake in a credit institution, the message of the Bank.

IFC also announced that a member of the Board of Directors and main shareholder Mikhail Prokhorov has offered to consider his nomination as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors. Currently this position is held by Ekaterina Ignatova.

Earlier the Federal Antimonopoly service announced that a Cyprus company Winterlux Limited, the beneficiary of which is Victor Vekselberg, filed a motion for preliminary consent to purchase of 19.71% of the voting stock of IFC. Winterlux who wants to buy a package in the message of FAS was not disclosed. The source of the newspaper “Vedomosti”, close to one of the parties to the transaction, said that its shares in the Bank ONEXIM sells.
