The former head of the FSO found a new job in the oil industry


One of the members of the Board of Directors of the state oil company Zarubezhneft may be the former head of the Federal security service (FSS) Evgeny Murov.

According to a source “Interfax” in one of the specialized agencies, Moores will be included in the list of candidates to the Board of Directors “Zarubezhneft” the first Deputy Chairman of Vnesheconombank Mikhail Poluboyarinov.

A source close to Zarubezhneft, said Moores may be on the Board of Directors of the company.

In April 2016 Poluboyarinov was included in the approved order of the government a list of candidates to the Board of Directors “Zarubezhneft” (now he’s already in it). However, according to sources “Interfax”, in June, the relevant departments have prepared amendments to the previously approved list, and now the new draft regulation is pending approval.

To leave the Board of Directors “Zarubezhneft” may present its head, Deputy Minister of energy Kirill Molodtsov, which designate the Director of the Department for oil and gas, energy Ministry Alexander Gladkov.

Evgeny Murov headed the FSO in may 2000, coming to this post from the post of first Deputy head of Department of economic safety of FSB of Russia in the rank of major-General. In 2004 Murowa was awarded the rank of General of the army, he was awarded the order “For merits before Fatherland” the second, third and fourth degree and the order “For military merits” and medals.
