President Vladimir Putin, speaking at a meeting of the Council for strategic development and priority projects, said that the citizens want to hear is not “the enumeration of laws, policies, orders, and results of government activities should “be measured in positive, understandable things.” According to him, the Cabinet of Ministers have “deep, meaningful approach to the formulation of the final results.” “From this, without exaggeration, depends the whole further course of the work and its success” — said Putin.
“We need as clearly and distinctly tell the public what we want to achieve. And, of course, in any case, you can’t have people fooling detailed listing of laws, practices, errands. Citizens do not want to hear it”, — Putin said (quoted by “RIA Novosti”).
As an example the President cited the reduction in queues in clinics, speed of medical care for people living in remote areas, the conditions of the mortgage, the opportunity for everyone to check and understand, how are the utilities. “Of course, not all results can be digitized, but this work must make the most transparent and understandable to the ordinary citizen”, — said the President.
During his speech, Putin also highlighted the main approaches to the development of priority projects. He urged the government “not to waste time and effort to take let important but local problems”. In his words, “each project should focus on a limited range of the most acute problems.” In addition, he demanded in implementation of strategic projects to get rid of people grueling bureaucracy. “We need to build a coordinated work not only among managers, but also at the level of collectives of ministries, departments, regions, getting rid of people grueling bureaucracy, to ensure quick adoption and implementation of decisions,” Putin said (quoted by TASS).
