Putin instructed to organize the removal of the Russians from Turkish airports


As reported by “RIA Novosti” with reference to press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov, the President instructed the Ministry of transport and other bodies of the Executive region to provide support to the citizens of Russia in Turkish airports and to organize their removal.

Putin also instructed to provide the passengers waiting for departure to Turkey in the Russian airports to clarify the situation.

On Saturday, Russian authorities imposed a temporary ban on regular flights to Turkey by Russian airlines. Now these flights operate only “Aeroflot” and “Russia”. “Aeroflot” it is too early in the morning canceled all flights to Turkey on July 16 and partially on July 17.

The Turkish authorities at the same time imposed a ban on flights of civil aircraft over the North-Western region of Marmara, a part of which is including Istanbul.
