Prime Minister of Abkhazia Artur mikvabia wrote a letter of resignation. This he said at an extraordinary meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic, Apsnypress reports.
“I wrote a letter of resignation. We have started a great thing. And in adverse conditions caused by the fragmentation of society and social tensions”, he said.
In an interview with “Interfax” mikvabia said that he had submitted a letter to President Raul Khajimba. To the question about the reasons for the resignation, he replied: “I submitted the application at own will”. The reasons for the decision, the Prime Minister of the Republic did not disclose.
On the eve of the source in administration of the head of Abkhazia has informed the Agency that Khajimba are expected in the coming days to dismiss the government of the Republic. The source also said that the resignation will be sent to the Prosecutor General and the interior Minister of Abkhazia.
