The Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) of Russia approved the request of a Cypriot company Winterlux Limited, the beneficiary of which is the head of the Board of Directors of group “Renova” Victor Vekselberg, the acquisition 19,7081% of the voting shares of the Bank “international financial club” (IFC), reported on the Agency’s website.
In the case of the transaction Winterlux become a major shareholder of IFC with the shares of 39,42%. Currently, the Bank monitors Mikhail Prokhorov. He owns the accounting period by 27.74% stake, ONEXIM group, which manages his assets – of 19.71%. Vekselberg now owns through Winterlux of 19.71% of the shares. A similar proportion — the head of Board of Directors Evraz Alexander Abramov. Still 13,14% owned by the spouse of the head of “Rosteh” Ekaterina Ignatova, who led the Bank’s Board of Directors since 2010. In early July, the press service of the IFC reported that Prokhorov has suggested to consider for the post of Chairman of the Board of Directors of his candidacy. Currently, the website of the Bank Ignatova listed as a member of the Board of Directors, and Prokhorov as its head.
That structure Vekselberg FAS filed a petition for obtaining consent for purchase of 19.71% shares of the IFC, became known in early July. Whose share is going to buy Winterlux was not disclosed as the estimated amount of the transaction. The newspaper “Vedomosti”, citing a source close to one of the parties wrote that their stock sells ONEXIM group. This information was denied by the press service of the IFC.
Later, “Vedomosti” with reference to sources reported that Vekselberg plans to buy a share of Alexander Abramov. This information was confirmed by the head of asset management Abramova company “invest AG” Sergey Bratukhin.
