Putin has dismissed the presidential envoy to the Siberian Federal district


Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed the Plenipotentiary representative in the Siberian Federal district Nikolai Rogozhkin. This is stated in the presidential decree, reports “RIA Novosti”.

The corresponding decree published on the Kremlin website.

Instead Rogozhkin for the position of presidential envoy to the Siberian Federal district has appointed the former head of Sevastopol Sergey Menyailo, the TASS, instead of which the acting Governor appointed Dmitry Ovsyannikov, stated in the decree of the President.

That Rogozhkin goes on vacation and “maybe he did not return”, had previously reported two of the interlocutor close to the Kremlin administration. His resignation is connected with achievement of a retirement age in the next year Rogozhkin turns 65, said the Federal official.

Ex-envoy following the resignation retire, said a source close to the Kremlin.

Until 2014 Rogozhkin commander of internal troops of the MIA of Russia. After that he left his post, and he was replaced by Viktor Zolotov, who in 2016 appointed commander of Asgardia.
