The Kremlin did not see interference to continue my career in the civil service Belyaninov

In the Kremlin consider that released from the post of head FTS Andrey Beljaninov while nothing prevents to pursue a career bureaucrat. This was stated press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, transfers “RIA Novosti”.

“It is not yet known, I cannot tell you, but at least it does not interfere. But I am not aware of any impending appointments and so forth,” — said Peskov told reporters, answering a question, whether there are chances of the former head of the FCS to continue to work in a particular area in the government or somewhere else.

The day before, on 28 July, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on dismissal Belyaninov as head of the FCS and the appointment of Vladimir Bulavin, who was presidential envoy in the Northwest Federal district (SZFO).

Later, Belyaninov said he hopes to pursue a career in public service. “I hope that my career will not end in the civil service. As soon as you get a new assignment, I hope it will be, we’ll meet again, but probably not in the customs uniforms”, — he said employees of the FCS, representing the new head of the Department.

July 26 at home and in the office Belianinov were searched in the case of smuggling of alcohol, during which he found to 9.5 million rubles, $390 thousand and €350 thousand at the head of the TCF, called the money “personal savings”. After that, Peskov, commenting on the journalists ‘ question about the future Belyaninov, said that he know nothing about it and was reminded that the head of the FCS in the case of smuggling takes place as a witness.

Sources said earlier that Belyaninov told me he wanted to resign several times and wrote a petition to the President, but each time it was rejected.

Yesterday, after Belyaninov was dismissed, a source in the Federal government said that the decision on resignation of the head of the FCS was taken in the beginning of the year, after he wrote another letter of resignation at own will. According to the source, the investigation of the smuggling only coincided with the planned change of the head of customs.
