The number of crimes in the Russian Energy sector has grown by almost a quarter


The number of crimes in the energy sphere in the first half in Russia increased by 23%, said at a meeting in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, the Secretary of the Russian security Council Nikolai Patrushev.

“The issues of decriminalization toplivno energy complex continues to be relevant. In the first half of 2016 the number of crimes in the fuel and energy sector increased by 23%” — quoted Patrushev TASS.

She also added that “the rise of dubious financial transactions in companies providing services in the field of oil and gas production.

“For all the revealed facts criminal cases are brought, the damage in the hundreds of millions of rubles”, — said Patrushev and called to put a reliable barrier to theft, activating the work of law enforcement.

The Secretary of security Council urged to pay special attention to the manifestation of corruption by officials.
